Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from The Harry Potter Specialist, who solely specialises in the signature of JK Rowling. Signed with a 1999 signature, which dates to the author's second tour of the United States. As explained in the Letter of Authenticity from the Harry Potter Specialist, the book was kept by the owner of the toy store where JK Rowling signed the book, and it was kept by the toy store owner for 25 years.

Very scarce, signed by the author. In his Letter of Authenticity, the Harry Potter Specialist observes that he has only seen two authentically signed copies, this being one of them.

The proof is in exceptional condition, without the usual sunning to the spine seen on many copies. No creases to the wraps, bar a couple of corner tip extremities, otherwise the wraps are in stunning condition. No reading crease to the spine. No dog-eared pages, no torn pages. Appears unread.
