VIRGINIA TEST PREP Spelling, Grammar, & Writing Conventions Grade 3: SOL Writing Skills Practice

This practice workbook will develop and improve the writing skills required by students in Virginia. It includes 10 practice tests covering spelling, grammar, usage, capitalization, and punctuation. Students will have extensive practice editing writing, identifying errors, correcting errors, following writing conventions, and answering multiple choice questions about correct language use.

It covers the skills in the 2017 Standards of Learning. These skills include using complete sentences, using correct verb tense, using adjectives correctly, using possessives, using abbreviations, using commas and apostrophes, and spelling words correctly.
