It also is derived from the French word habit (pronounced \ah-bee\), which means clothes. In the 13th century, the word habit first just referred to clothing.

accomplishment, status and morals. These habits are very effective and productive. In almost thirty years of being around the small, great and mighty, I have discovered certain things that have greatly contributed to most individuals’ successes or failures.

Habits are very powerful; they can make or break your chances of achieving and maintaining greatness. There are some of your routines that should be grossly involved in your journey of greatness such as exercising regularly, maintaining a healthy eating habit/other fitness conditions, spiritual healthiness and reading; these has been confirmed to be helpful in increasing the quality of human life on the earth and promoting longevity of days.

A good habit is a behaviour that is beneficial to one's physical or mental health, often linked to a high level of discipline and self-control.
A good example of a superior habit is Regular Physical and Spiritual Exercise, etc.

For bodily exercise profits little: godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. (1Timoty 4:8 KJV+)


Neuroscientists have traced our habit-making behaviors to a part of the brain called the basal ganglia, which also plays a key role in the development of emotions, memories and pattern recognition. Decisions, meanwhile, are made in a different part of the brain called the prefrontal cortex.

Before we proceed further, it is vital to notify us that there's no universal predictor of success — but focusing on good habits could increase your chances.

Several researches of studies show that self-discipline is the single most significant keystone habit for individual success. The Power of Habit is one of the greatest discoveries of this digital generation. When you discover any of these values commit it to practice until it starts speaking and moving you to global recognitions.

Friends, Habits are strategic and should be intentional for success to be achievable. You are more likely to accomplish meaningful goals if you have excellent habits. The fact is this, once we've decided upon a target, we're more motivated to attain greatness – on a daily basis – by the habits that we have set up to reach it, than by the goal itself. We're also motivated by reflecting on our progress towards our goals. A high-quality habit creates in us the capacity for an extra-ordinary life on the earth.
