Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: A native of San Francisco, Charleston began his modeling career in the late 80's as one of Jimmie Grimme's models. His career highlights in the entertainment and fashion industry include successful modeling and acting stints in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and around the United States. He has appeared in national billboards, movies, print ads, fashion shows, and over 30 commercials. Charleston also co-hosted the Bay Area Vista TV Show. In San Francisco, Charleston has been a top runway model in the Macy's Passport fashion shows and was invited to serve as Macy's lead runway coach and model trainer. In 2007, he launched "Charleston Pierce Presents," a series of fashion, music and entertainment events throughout the SF Bay Area with a focus on promoting local designers in San Francisco. In 2008, he was nominated as "Man of the Year" by San Francisco's Lymphoma and Cancer Society. He has also been named Fashion Show Producer and Creative Director by the Bay Area Fashion Awards, and Creative Director of the Year by San Francisco Fashion Awards. Charleston's vision is to support upcoming talent, aspiring models, designers, singers, and others in achieving success by helping them attain their star power. He holds talent workshops and coaching sessions to help people of all ages to embrace their star power on the runway of life.
