Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: My name is Pat Dougherty. I graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon in December of 1993. Over 700 hundred hours of continuing education have shaped the way I practice chiropractic. The recognition of the subtle energies has caused a shift toward techniques that affect the energetic patterns that often underlie a person's symptoms. I practiced chiropractic in Denver for over 10years and have practiced in Spokane WA the past 9 years. My training includes 7 years as the team chiropractor and trainer for Colorado Foothills Volleyball Club. My current practice utilizes much more than the traditional chiropractic adjustment. My approach is to understand a person's goals, then use whatever tools are necessary to help them turn on the healing light of comprehension. Then they are free to eliminate the combination of physical, chemical and emotional stresses that prevent them from having the healthiest life possible. Education is my mission. I want to see the world change from a sick care society to a wellness society. Society's view of health, illness and wellness must change for us to become a wellness society. Then a whole new world can open; a world of increased clarity, happiness, and energy; better digestion, sleep and much more. The possibilities are incredible and open-ended. My website has an extensive library of health related articles I have written. I have written for decades, and those writings are now coming together in the form of books. Quantum Energy: The Synthesis of Chiropractic and Reiki will be released in the summer of 2013; followed by "Do You Wanna Get Better?" The Future of Health Care later in the summer of 2013. The Conflict of Living will follow later in the year. Each of these books is an effort to educate the importance of living a healthier lifestyle.
