Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Born in Mount Vernon, Washington September 20, 1946, Gordon L. Ziegler attended elementary schools in western and eastern Colorado, secondary school in eastern and western Washington, and college in eastern and western Washington, receiving a BS degree in physics from the University of Washington in August, 1987. Gordon worked eight years for the University of Washington as a Radiation Technician and nine years for the State of Washington as a Radiation Health Physicist. For several years he acted as the Radiological Dose Assessor for the State of Washington. His crowning accomplishment working in the Radiation Control Section for the Department of Health for the State of Washington was calculating Derived Intervention Levels (DILs) for interdiction of food and water in case of a radiation accident and emergency. My method went national and international. On July 3, 1992 I left state employment for a career of writing. I now have 22 books published.
