David Tanovich, assistant professor, Faculty of Law, University of Windsor. He teaches in the areas of criminal law and procedure, systemic racism, evidence, and legal ethics. Previously, he was a criminal appellate lawyer with Pinkofsky Lockyer where he appeared frequently in the Supreme Court of Canada and Ontario Court of Appeal. He has published numerous books and articles on criminal law and is frequently cited by appellate and trial courts in Canada.

The Honourable Justice David M Paciocco of the Court of Appeal for Ontario, professor emeritus, Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa, was formerly a justice of the Ontario Court of Justice. While a professor, he served as a prosecutor over a period of several years before engaging in a specialized criminal defence practice. His academic writings have been relied upon, on numerous occasions, by courts in Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, and by the Privy Council.

Steven Skurka is a criminal lawyer in Toronto and a part-time lecturer in criminal procedure at Osgoode Hall Law School. He is a faculty member of the Ontario College of Advocacy Training and a director of the Criminal Lawyers' Association. Mr. Skurka has written numerous articles on criminal law and is co-editor with David Tanovich of the Criminal Appeals Law Reporter.

Mr. Justice David Doherty serves on the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
