Indispensable: Becoming an MVP in Disciplemaking

The word indispensable means “absolutely necessary.” The title and theme of this book is rooted in two fundamental beliefs. First, the work of disciplemaking is mandated by God and must be the highest priority for His people, the church. Second, God called men and women focused on developing and leading disciplemaking strategies are essential to the church. Changing church practices, economic challenges, declining church attendance, and church reorganizations have become common occurrences, making it vital that you keep your eyes on the task of equipping the church to make disciples. Because discipleship in indispensable, your role as a leader is indispensable.The church needs you to learn, grow, and then lead them to mature as disciples and to become disciples who make disciples. Because you work behind the scenes, your value many times goes unnoticed. This may lead you to ask the question, “Is discipleship indispensable?” Never, ever forget that God has a plan. You are part of that plan, therefore, YOU ARE INDISPENSABLE!
