Über die Autorinnen und Autoren: After a spectacularly unsuccessful career as a lawyer, K J Parker started writing for a living in 1995. When not gazing helplessly at a blank screen, KJ rears pedigree Oxford Sandy & Black pigs, chops down trees and makes things out of wood, metal and cloth. He won the World Fantasy Award for best novella two years running, and currently averages 92.8 in the SSBSA summer league. He also writes under the name Tom Holt.

Ellen Klages (www.ellenklages.com) is the author of three acclaimed MG historical novels: The Green Glass Sea, which won the Scott O’Dell Award and the New Mexico Book Award; White Sands, Red Menace, which won the California and New Mexico Book awards; and Out of Left Field, which won the Children’s History Book Prize and the Ohioana Book Award. Her adult novel, a historical fantasy, Passing Strange, won the World Fantasy and British Fantasy awards in 2018. Her short fiction has been translated into a dozen languages and been nominated for or won multiple Hugo, Nebula, Locus, Mythopoeic, and World Fantasy awards. “Time Gypsy” was her first published story. Ellen lives in San Francisco, in a small house full of strange and wondrous things.

Justina Robson is the UK author of thirteen science fiction and fantasy novels and many short stories. In addition to her original works, including a novel set in the Catt and Fisher universe – Salvation’s Fire – she has also written The Covenant of Primus, the 'bible' of The Transformers. She has tutored for the Arvon Foundation and been an awards judge for the Arthur C Clarke Award. She sometimes works as a freelance developmental editor.
