We live at a time in church history when there's so little evidence of the impact of the Gospel in our societies despite so much 'spiritual' activities. There are mass open air crusades in which evangelists claim thousands and even millions are converted, yet no mush evidence of transformed lives. Conferences, seminars, retreats, night prayers drawing crowds are held day in day out. But all we see is an increasing level of corruption and wickedness in our politics, economy, education and religion. What is the problem? Many people think the body of Christ need to pray more and more and repent more of our individual, family, generational and national sins. This is not absolutely true. Rather, we need to sow the right Seed of God's Message. Without this, our repentance, prayer and fasting are just like watering weeds. The real problem is that the church has deviated from preaching the original gospel message that Jesus Himself and the Apostles preached and handed over to the church. What we hear all over the place today, in churches and on air, are a total diversion, which Apostle Paul calls 'another gospel'. Today, you can hear a one-hour or more messages from 'great men of God' without them mentioning Jesus, what He came to do, and accomplished on the Cross at Calvary.

Many have even specialized on materialistic gospel where all they preach is how to make it in life. They define themselves by what they possess and not how much they are becoming like Christ. Some others major in demonology. They focus their listeners on human enemies so much that their people become enemy conscious instead of Christ conscious. Thus they create around their people a life of insecurity, anxiety, fear and worries.

Some preach nothing but law, which can never save or transform anybody. If it could, Jesus did not need to come and suffer, die and resurrect to redeem us to God. Some others mix law with the true gospel of grace
