A collection of treatises reflecting the classical Shi a jurisprudence (fiqh) and its stance on marginal legal and theological positions. The first treatise, composed in poetic form (16 leaves), provides a doctrinal exposition of mut a (temporary marriage), a distinctive feature of Shi a Islam that permits a legally contracted, time-limited marital union. It explains the precise wording used in such contracts, detailing how they should be pronounced with the proper intention. This work serves as an excellent example of Persian-influenced poetic religious texts in Shi a theology. The second treatise delves into Shi a jurisprudential terminology and its evidentiary basis in hadith, Qur anic verses, and sayings of early Islamic scholars. It systematically extracts legal proofs from the Qur an, structuring theological argumentation. These treatises have been foundational in Shi a jurisprudential education and ideological dissemination for centuries across regions where Shi a thought has been predominant.
