First edition. 62 pp. Bound in publisher's stapled wraps. Good+ with small spot of nibbling to front wrap and first few pages, tidemark towards front along bottom edge and slight wrinkling. A rare examination of the story of the Lost Tribes of Israel by a prolific Wesleyan Methodist evangelist, W.B. Godbey. According to Find a Grave "He was a prodigious author publishing more than 200 books and pamphlets on topics including doctrine, new religious movements, the Second Coming, and divine healing. He traveled extensively across the country and the world preaching the holiness message. He taught at God's Bible School in Cincinnati, Ohio and became known, in part, for his unconventional dress and personal lifestyle." He also converted feminist firebrand Alma White of the Pillar of Fire Church. This work argues that the Lost Tribes (ancestors of the Native Americans) will only be restored with the Second Coming of Christ. Only three copies found in a recent OCLC search.
