Illustrated with forty-nine plates of images, many of which are in colour. Collated complete. A comprehensive list of the works of Fritz Kredel, a German-born artist and graphic designer who fled Germany for political reasons in 1938 with help from Melbert Cary and later moved to America. Edited with essays from his daughters Mathilde and Judith Kredel Brown. Additional essays from Gay Walker, an American artist and curator, Hermann Zapf, a German type designer and calligrapher, and Ronald Salter, an American designer.
