Marks and handling wear present across the boards, but the binding remains square and firm. Internally, pages display expected age-related browning and occasional creasing, yet remain complete and intact throughout. Engraved plates and vignette present and in good order. A notably well-preserved and highly presentable copy for its age. Description First edition, published by John Monk in 1771 (MDCCLXXI), in original boards with the publisher's paper label intact, increasingly uncommon survival state for 18th-century books, which are often found rebound.
