Loosely based on Eric Knight's 1940 novel "Lassie Comes Home." Set in the American West and shot in Colorado and California. 8 x 10 inches. Near Fine, with small strips of adhesive to the top center edge.

First edition, first printing. Limited edition. Signed by author. Publisher's original tan cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Lucy Galding and Ian Whates illustrated dustwrapper. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, lightly rubbed to the head of the spine, and with a faint production crease to the cloth surface on the rear board. The contents are clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. The top edge of the closed text block has a couple of faint, barely discernible foxing spots.
