Six vintage studio still color photographs from the 1954 film. With a stamp reading "Bought in Phila. / FEB 9 1954" to the verso. A farm family facing poverty is forced to sell daughter Donna's pet horse, the eponymous Gypsy Colt, unaware that the horse itself is prepared to resist the new sale, crossing deserts and mountains in order to return to Donna. Loosely based on Eric Knight's 1940 novel "Lassie Comes Home." Set in the American West and shot in Colorado and California. 8 x 10 inches. Near Fine, with small strips of adhesive to the top center edge.
