Six vintage studio still color photographs from the 1954 film. With a stamp reading "Bought in Phila. / FEB 9 1954" to the verso. A farm family facing poverty is forced to sell daughter Donna's pet horse, the eponymous Gypsy Colt, unaware that the horse itself is prepared to resist the new sale, crossing deserts and mountains in… order to return to Donna. Loosely based on Eric Knight's 1940 novel "Lassie Comes Home." Set in the American West and shot in Colorado and California. 8 x 10 inches. Near Fine, with small strips of adhesive to the top center edge.

Longmire also finds he has feelings for the sheriff's daughter Caroline (Martha Hyer). 8 x 10 inches. Near Fine, one with small pinholes in corners and near center pin holes with some scratching. A volcanic eruption in the South Seas frees a long-dormant, 200-foot-tall mantis, which proceeds to make its way to the US. Filmmakers constructed a 200-foot-tall mantis… for the film from papier-mâché, with a hydraulic system, in addition to two smaller models for different flying or walking effects. 10 x 8 inches. A mare has been lured away by a wild stallion, angering the mare's owner, Beaver Greenway, a horse owner with a drinking problem. Meanwhile, Ken McLaughlin (Arthur) returns home… with a new horse who has developed altitude sickness. Based on the third book in Mary O'Hara's "My Friend Flicka" trilogy. Nominated for one Academy Award. Set in Wyoming, shot on location in Wyoming, Utah, and Ohio, USA. Blue titled wrappers, noted as Final on the front wrapper, rubber-stamped copy No. 84 and production No. 133, dated April 7, 1947. Distribution page present, with receipt removed. Vintage publicity photograph from the 1957 film, showing actors Alix Talton and Craig Stevens being menaced by the massive, titular insect. Printed mimeo snipe affixed to the verso. A prehistoric praying mantis is freed from the ice and wreaks havoc on the American military stationed in the northern Arctic, slowly making its way… south. The film utilized a giant paper mâché mantis with an internal hydraulic system for several scenes involving the creature, and special effects crew also created two smaller models for scenes where the mantis walked or flew. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus.

Vintage still photograph from the set of the 1955 film "Revenge of the Creature." Featuring a comical image of the film being shot in the water at Marineland, Florida while a dolphin show takes place in the background. Half of the gathered crowd watches the dolphin show, while the other half has turned to watch the Gill-man atta…ck a diver, bathing suit-clad cameramen milling about to the side. The captive Gill-man (Ricou Browning) falls in love with the girlfriend (Lori Nelson) of animal psychologist Clete Ferguson (John Agar). When it inevitably escapes and (unsurprisingly) takes Nelson hostage, the police are forced to shoot it. The first 3-D sequel to a 3-D film, its far more successful predecessor "The Creature from the Black Lagoon," and the only 3-D film released in 1955. Clint Eastwood makes a hilarious, uncredited appearance as an incompetent lab technician who insists a lab rat has been eaten by a cat test subject, only to find the rat in his lab coat pocket. Set in Florida, and shot there on location. 8 x 10 inches. Just about Fine. Weaver and Brunas, Universal Horrors. Mystery Science Theater 801.
