In between his thought-provoking war poems that tackle imperialism, such as Borderlands, Kitchener of Khartoum and the Iron Cross, Moomaw also celebrates poet Edgar Allen Poe and Sidney Lanier.As You Were, a very scarce anthology written by American poet William H. Fulham, privately printed in 1920, two years following the First World War. In the original paper wraps. A collection of poems that focus on a soldier returning from the Western Front, including his love of France and his reaction upon returning home. Also includes a poem dedicated to war poet Rupert Brooke.Songs in the Darkness, a scarce anthology written and signed by Warrington writer Arthur Bennett, published by the local "Sunrise" Publishing Company in 1927.
