Original portfolio. 33 plates. Cover measures 18 x 23 1/2. Large portfolio with artwork by Theresa Garrett Elio and graphic analysis by Henry W. Eliot Jr. Contains 33 plates including a map and a table of pottery forms. Inside folding wrapper scuffed along edge but plates are in excellent condition, loose in the original cloth backed board folder with ties. This was a special publication of the Peabody Museum from 1950. Provenance: Peabody deaccession. Includes library checkout card with stamps dates in the 1950s and 60s.
