Collated, lacking a hand-coloured map and twenty plates.Volume III is illustrated with nine plates and seven folding genealogies. Collated, lacking the frontispiece and thirty plates.Volume IV is illustrated with a frontispiece, six folding genealogies, and six plates. Collated, lacking two folding plans and maps, and thirty-eight plates.The author, Edward Baines, was a native of Lancashire, and was the editor and proprietor of the 'Leeds Mercury'.
