With the extremely scarce and unclipped dustwrapper.Founded by C G Holme in 1893, this influential magazine looks at interior design in relation to decorative art, as well as promoting the new art of artists, designers, and architects.A yearbook of decorative art, comprising about one hundred and eighty leaves of illustrations, including eight coloured plates. Collated, complete. Recording the progress in mid 1920s of the cooperation between artists and craftsmen, looking at architecture, fireplaces, furniture, pottery, glassware and metalwork, miscellaneous, gardens, and garden furniture in American, British, Japanese, or Continental styles.An excellent example of this remarkable reference work. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally lovely with only minor shelf wear and a slight fading to the cloth to the spine, and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine.
