Hardback, 9 x 6 inches. In full red calf leather fine binding, with gilt panelled boards, raised banding and gilt decorations to spine with gilt lettering to black leather spine label. Marbled endpapers and page edges. In very good condition. Some darkening to spine with some marks to bottom end. Rubbing to corners, bumped at top board corners, some minor handling marks. Bookplate to front prelim ?Dunster Castle.? Pages all very clean and tight (glossy-type paper). Else a very good clean and tight copy. 327pp. With a colour frontis plate and many B&W illustrations including photographs.
