This manuscript recipe book was compiled by Mrs Elizabeth Wainwright in 1711, and was issued here for the first time in only 250 copies. It sheds light on the glories of old English cooking. Very scarce. Introduction by John Shirley-Fox in whose family the manuscript had been for many years.
