This volume was issued for the year 1949 and contains articles such as: Australians at Balmoral, the England team at Lord's, Five Cricketers of the Year, Cricket Records, and India in Australia, amongst others. Edited by Hubert Preston, an English journalist and writer who was editor of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack for eight years. He contributed to fifty-one editions of the Almanack, and was the oldest editor of the publication. In the original full cloth binding.
