Soft cover. Zustand: Near Fine. Sporting Handbooks. London. 1945. First edition of the 82nd edition. Only 1,500 hardback copies and 6,000 linen-covered copies were produced for 1945. Soft cover. Book Condition. Near Fine. As with all these copies there is some very minor fraying to leading edges of the linen cover. Color of cover is still a fantastic bright deep mustard yellow and is hard to fault but for a tiny black dot on the back. A very slight hint of tanning to fore edges and main text block is very bright. Limited to only 366 pp as understandably first class cricket was limited during 1944. you may well be hard pushed to find a better limp copy on the internet. Inscription free.

Collated, complete. Two works in the publisher's original cloth binding and one work in the the publisher's original pictorial limp cloth binding. Externally, the first two cloth-bound copies remain smart with just a little wear to the gilt lettering and extremities. The 1963 almanack in the limp cloth is generally smart, with a little spotting. Fading to the spine, which is warped and causing a rounding of the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot to the fore edge. Very Good. book.
