Sin Encuadernar. Zustand: Muy bien. Manuscript letter in letterhead paper, signed and dated in sepia ink, sent to Fermin Estrella Gutierrez thanking for sending the recently published book "a European film". Pablo Antonio Pizzurno (Buenos Aires, July 11, 1865 - March 20, 1940) was an Argentine educator, who laid the foundations of the national primary education system. In 1887 he was appointed director of the Superior School of Buenos Aires, and in 1889 sent by the National Council of Education to the International Exhibition of Paris. He took advantage of the trip to familiarize himself with the educational techniques used in Europe, which he later detailed in several reports and applied to the creation in 1890 of the National Institute of Primary and Secondary Education. In 1902 he presented the Pizzurno report to the Ministry of Public Instruction, historically detailing all the study plans and methods applied in the country up to that date, and proposing a global reform. He would work with the ministry for the next 30 years, while continuing his work as an inspector and focusing on writing and teaching. It was also who implemented school rituals and ephemeris in schools. He put it into practice for the first time in the courtyard of a school to commemorate the day of May 25. Firmado por el autor.
