Vintage publicity keybook photograph of actress Nell O'Day in a bathing suit, 1941. Printed mimeo snipe and stamp of studio photograph Ray Jones on the verso. Born in Prairie Hill, Texas, Nell O'Day largely appeared in B films in the 1930s and 1940s. She is today best remembered for her starring role in "Rackety Rax" (1932), opposite Victor McLaglen, and for her performances as the heroine in a number of Westerns. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. 8 x 10 inches.
