Tercera edición de estos famosos refranes y proverbios en romance escritos por el humanista español Hernán Núñez (1475-1553), considerada como una de las obras más completas en su género ya que incluye casi dos mil en numerosos idiomas incluyendo español, francés, italiano, gallego, portugués, catalán, asturiano, aragonés, latín y griego. La primera edición se publicó en 1555. Los refranes aparecen por orden alfabético todos juntos con indicación de la lengua, cuando se trata de los refranes no castellanos. Muy buen ejemplar, atractivo, de un libro que suele aparecer muy fatigado por su frecuente uso, su reducido tamaño y la mala calidad del papel con que fue impreso. 147x66mm. (5¾x2½").
