Couverture souple. Zustand: Très bon. Edition originale. Shea JJ Jr : A personal history of stapedectomy, Am J Otol, 1998, 19(5 Suppl):S2-12 : The first mobilization of the stapes and stapedectomy operations by Kessel in 1876 was soon followed by Camille Miot in France, who, in a series of 5 publications, reported 200 mobilizations of the stapes operations and contributed greatly to the technique of operation." ; Poe DS : Laser-Assisted Endoscopic Stapedectomy: A Prospective Study, The Laryngoscope, 2010, 110, Issue Suppl. S95, 1-30 : "Miot in 1890 introduced Listers sterile techniques into otology, operating on 200 patients with an excision of the tympanic membrane and mobilization of the stapes. He noted that the best results did occur if the bony ankylosis of the stapes was in an early stage, and the procedure was useless for advanced stages." ; Tos M : Surgical Solutions for Conductive Hearing Loss, p. 85 ; De Souza C & Glasscock ME : Otosclerosis and Stapedectomy, p. 1 : "In 1890, Miot reported a series of 200 stapes mobilizations without a single death or labyrinthine complication." ; Jahn AF : History of Otology, Am J Otol, 1981, 3(1), 74-78 : "When Rosen in the early 1950s introduced stapes mobilization as a treatment for otosclerosis, he developed a special set of instruments for the operation. After one of his presentation, Dr. Franz Altmann asked permission to project a single slide. The illustration was from an old French text and depicted a set of instruments strangely similar to the ones just demonstrated. These were the instruments Camille Miot has designed and used on the stapes some seventy years before."; Pappas DG : Otologys great moments, p. 42. © S.A.S. Jean-Pierre Aubert, 2016.…
