Embossed pictorial covers and numerous colour plates of children playing in houses and gardens, often with their pets. Contents in near fine condition with no inscriptions. Spine intact. Endpapers slightly tanned and small bald patch bottom right front otherwise in near fine condition.

Zustand: Very good. - Small quarto, 8-1/2 inches high by 6-1/2 inches wide. Color pictorial white boards. The white covers are slightly soiled and bumped. [16] leaves, including the endpapers. Superbly illustrated with black & white decorative endpapers, a title page vignette, textual illustrations and 12 charming full-page color illustrations by Millicent Sowerby.
