Exterior shows scuffing and soiling, with toning along edges. The front board has dents in the lower left area in the rear board has a crease in the cloth the upper left. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting found. There is quite a bit of foxing present with spotting on pretty much every page. This is the first edition with the title page listing both Duffield and Company of New York along with Chatto & Windus of London.
