Das führt schon bei der einfachen Lektüre des Buches zu ständigen Aha-Erlebnissen. Der erfahrenere Werfer versteht plötzlich eine Menge Dinge, die er bis dahin lediglich 'irgendwie' wußte. Wenn man darüber hinaus Mel Kriegers Übungsempfehlungen folgt, wird es erst richtig schön: Schritt für Schritt lernt man die technischen Abläufe tatsächlich zu spüren, und das Spüren, das Wahrnehmen des Wurfvorgangs ist die eigentliche Quintessenz, die uns Mel Krieger mit seiner ausgereiften und sensiblen Methode mit auf den Weg gibt.
