His career spanned from the 1930s through the 1950s, during which he illustrated several notable children's books, including Robin the Rover and Sinbad the Sailor.Aesop was a storyteller who is thought to have lived in ancient Greece around the 6th century BCE. He is best known for his collection of fables featuring anthropomorphic animals that illustrate moral lessons of honesty, wisdom and kindness.
