Collated, complete.Arthur Mansbridge (18781963) was a British illustrator and writer renowned for his work in children's literature. He wrote and illustrated children's books, and also worked in comics, drawing adventure strips. His career spanned from the 1930s through the 1950s, during which he illustrated several notable children's books, including Robin the Rover and Sinbad the Sailor.Aesop was a storyteller who is thought to have lived in ancient Greece around the 6th century BCE. He is best known for his collection of fables featuring anthropomorphic animals that illustrate moral lessons of honesty, wisdom and kindness. These fables have become enduring classics, continuing to be shared with generation after generation. In the publisher's original cloth binding with paper boards. The odd spot and handling mark to boards. Rubbing and bumping to extremities, resulting in slight loss to paper at extremities and minor loss to cloth at head and tail of spine.
