The McMahon line delineating the border between Tibet and India is not observed, nor the 1941 border established between France and Thailand (following the Mekong River). This map is by the Chicago Sun cartographer F. E. Manning, produced for the Army Orientation Branch. A smaller version was also included with the Newsmap issue of January 17th 1944.
