I have never had or seem any similar logging account manuscript books. - The index indicate…s lumber types and species: deals, red pine, spruce, tamarack, 1st and 2nd stumps, siding, good shorts, mill clulls, box siding, etc. An interesting record of types and sizes of wood common in the 1890's. Believed to be associated with the Ottawa Valley lumbering trade. - One entry mentions Perkins which we believe would be Perkins, P.Q., just north of Wakefield, still known for lumber.
