In den WarenkorbMicro-miniature, (25mm.), [47]p. Colour frontispiece & 21 monochrome illustrations. A good copy, apart from some very minor soiled of the tail-edge of several leaves, in original red cloth, top edge gilt, dustjacket. An attractively produced volume, albeit one where the size makes comfortable browsing a no-no; presumably these micro-miniature books, produced and bound by Tim Sheppard under his Lilliput Press imprint, would also act as volumes for a dolls house library.

Zustand: Fine. One of 20 copies This artist's proof Number 2. Signed and numbered by the book artist. This exuberant book is a study into color. It flips to reveal fragments of text and color shapes. The work is an adventure in color, and the book is simple and joyous. It is done in the Jacob's ladder structure, a book technique developed during the 1800s. The structure creates the function. To work. the ladder must be picked up at the end and held on a horizontal position to release the first section, which then tumbles down into the next continuing until it reaches the bottom. Reversing the direction brings the ladder back to its original position. Printed on Rives BFK paper and remounted on acid free boards, then tied together with an assortment of colorful ribbons, thus the book is about the color experience. A paper wrapper houses the little book and as each layer unfolds it provides a short description about color. In a blue paper folder with a red paper closure that attaches with velcro. Accompanied by a translucent green sheet of paper where Carol give a more detailed discussion of the Bauhaus master Jose, Albers, the factors that Carol had to consider in the creation of this complex work. Further accompanied by a one page sheet with the description and an image of the book. In fine condition. Measures 4 x 4.25 x 1 inches. Unpaginated. ARTB/060925. Signed.
