Zustand: new. Pages: 80 Language: Russian, English. Rodolphe Kreutzer (1766-1831) - the French violinist, composer, conductor and teacher. Being the disciple of A. Stamitz, Kreutzer started his service as the first violinist at the Court Kapelle in 1783. Later he was appointed the chamber virtuoso at the court of Napoleon I and then Louis XVIII. Kreutzer had many tours over Europe. Among Kreutzer's compositions there are numerous operas, violin concertos string quartets, trios and others of mostly different genres and for various casts. Ludwig van Beethoven appreciated the great performer's skill very much. Remember the so-called "Kreutzer-Sonata" op. 47, dedicated by the giant of piano to the master of violin. Rodolphe Kreutzer was the professor of the Paris Conservatoire, founder of its classical trend. Together with P. Rode and P. Baillot he created the work "Violin Method" and the collection "42 Etudes and Caprices". These opuses gave birth to new trends in the violin pedagogics. Kreutzer's etudes from the collection take mostly significant place in the process of any violinist's technical mastering. 9790660041130.…

Paperback. Zustand: Sehr gut. Gebraucht - Sehr gut Sg - leichte Beschädigungen oder Verschmutzungen, ungelesenes Mängelexemplar, gestempelt - 42 Etudes (Caprices) for Violin by Rodolphe Kreutzer have been a core part of teaching repertoire since their publication, and are today perhaps the most common set of studies for intermediate and advanced students of the violin. They were written to demonstrate the possibilities of the Tourte bow, which was then innovative but has since been universally adopted, meaning Kreutzer's studies are highly applicable to the development of modern bowing technique. Another of Kreutzer's important didactic goals was developing fluency in contraction and extension of the left hand, which is also crucial to modern students of the violin.Rodolphe Kreutzer was at the centre of the development of the French school of violin playing around the turn of the 19th century, which defined much of the 19th-century (and hence the modern) approach to playing the violin. This new edition edited by Walther Davisson includes indications for technical execution and particular fingerings and bowings which differ from those of the current Peter's edition which for the most part, adheres to the original.
