Publishers red cloth backed boards very slightly soiled, the upper cover lettered in black, and the spine in gilt. Overall, a near very good copy. Sir Kenneth Weldon Goadby (1873 - 1931), wrote a number of medical books relating to problems with the mouth.

The former owner of this copy, Herbert Charles Moffitt [1867-1950], was a notable American clinician. His alma mater, University of California, named its Herbert C. Moffitt Hospital in his honor. In the upper left corner of the front pastedown, there is the bookseller's ticket of the Manhattan medical bookseller Paul B. Hoeber (1883-1937), who was also a prominent publisher of medical books.
