However, there are watermarks to the cloth at the top and bottom of the spine and immediate surrounding area, not affecting the book internally in any way (see images). Binding sound, no inscriptions. Dustjacket is in poor condition, being very shelfworn with creasing, tears and some areas of loss. The slipcase is also in fairly poor condition being quite shelfworn and rubbed. McKnight Kauffer, produced at The Curwen Press by a stencil process which gives them a depth and brilliance. Cream boards, very slightly soiled to edges, front free endpaper has had top sixth removed, endpapers browned otherwise a very clean and fresh copy in very worn original protective wrapper that lacks most of spine and the whole is housed in a black slipcase with paper title, slightly worn and rubbed to extremities.…
