Here is another book, also in very good condition, to add to the growing list of railroad-related books I currently have listed. This one is titled: "Southern Tier Lines," by Todd E. Humphrey and John W. Humphrey. This large sized oblong soft cover book (11 x 8 ½ inches, 96 pages) was published by Rainy Day Books of East Syracuse, New York, dated November 1992 and the First Printing (so stated). The colorful pictorial front cover is similar to the many photos, in both b&w and color found in the book. Condition: This book is in very good, even near fine condition. There is just some minor rubbing to the top and bottom of the spine and a few tiny nicks to the gutter. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and photos are clean and bright throughout. The binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. …

Wraps. Zustand: Fair. Side folding newspaper. 8 pp. A newspaper issued by the utopian religious communities established by John Humphrey Noyes in Oneida, New York and Wallingford, Connecticut. This issue contains community gossip relating to the communes, as well as a printing of the poem "Give All to Love," by Ralph Waldo Emerson. The Oneida community, established by Noyes, was a 19th century religious commune advocating communal living and free love, among other tenets. FAIR condition. Heavy chipping and tearing along the extremities, with a few large pieces missing at the lower corners resulting in loss of text to the first two leaves. Center horizontal fold crease present. Heavy diagonal crease present to the pages throughout, resulting the paper being slightly folded on itself. Minor general browning. Minor soiling and staining.…
