Volume 1 (Raven to Eastern Reed - Warbler), i-xvii, 381 pp, Volume 2, (Reed - warbler to Teal) i-vii, 384 pp, Volume 3, (American Blue - winged Teal to Red - legged Partridge), i- vii, 384 pp, 53 coloured plates by Philip Rickman.
