In den WarenkorbFirst edition, first printing, scarce with the dust jacket. This biography was co-written by Duncan's daughter and the American writer Allan Macdougall, who was a part of the dancer's Paris circle, and would later write Isadora: a Revolutionary in Art and Love (1960). Octavo. With colour frontispiece of watercolour sketch of Duncan by Emile-Antoine Bourdelle with captioned tissue guard, and 8 black and white plates. Original red cloth, spine lettered in yellow, sunflower design on front cover in yellow and green, fore edge untrimmed. With dust jacket. Spine and head of rear panel sunned, spine ends lightly bumped and rubbed, tips a touch rubbed, internally fresh and clean. A near-fine copy in lightly soiled jacket, spine panel toned, extremities a little chipped and rubbed with a few nicks, short closed tear to centre of spine panel, a sharp example.
