Additional books which he gathered up to his death in 1886 were presented by his family: the whole was largely described in a preliminary catalogue in 1909. The focus is strongly on printers and engravers, local history and literature: `ballads' are listed on p. 1355-84 of the index. Good lightly stained black binder's buckram (dated 1978).
