The planes and weapons, the campaigns and battles are described and illustrated with over ninety superb colour photographs. Technical details are given on air to air and air to surface armament, anti-aircraft weapons and air tactics. These topics are brilliantly explained with over fourty five diagrams. This blue hardback is in reasonably good condition with normal wear and marks consistent with use and age. There is some wear to hardback edge and corners and some shelf-life wear. All 187 and index pages, text and illustrations are in good order. Dust jacket included. This is a large heavy book therefore the postage may increase from listed postage price depending on final destination. A really wonderful informative book perfect for any aircraft and Air Warfare enthusiasts or historians.

He first became prominent as a film producer, and then as an influential figure in the aviation industry." EPI-HAB Inc. was founded in 1958 as a non-profit organization with the mission to provide meaningful employment to individuals with epilepsy by performing valued work for customers. On February 19th 1977, the Los Angeles chapter of the organization produced a posthumous, celebrity-studded "tribute Ball for Howard Hughes" at The Century Plaza Hotel to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Howard Hughes. "EPI-HAB LA Salutes Howard Hughes (!905-1976)" is the souvenir program that was published a few months after the actual event. It features dozens of tribute ads (most from the Hughes Corporation, its Hotels, and various subsidiaries), scores of historical Hughes photos and press clippings (none from later than 1952), and most interestingly, nearly one hundred photographs of the civic movers and shakers that organized and attended the event. These included John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Jayne Russell. Nicknamed - The Brain,' Gruenther was instrumental in planning the Allied invasions of North Africa in 1942 and Italy in 1943. Ralph C. Smith (1893-1998), U.S. Army Major General, signed as "Ralph C. Smith / Maj Gen. US ARMY. RET." Smith commanded forces in the Pacific Theater, and was tasked with the defense of the Hawaiian Islands. Maxwell D. Taylor (1901-1987), U.S. Army General. Taylor served with distinction in Sicily, Italy, Normandy, and the Netherlands, and was the commander of the 101st Airborne Division, - The Screaming Eagles.' James Van Fleet (1892-1992), U.S. Army General. Van Fleet's leadership during the Utah Beach landings on D-Day earned him a Distinguished Service Cross. James M. Earle E. - Pat' Partridge (1900-1990), U.S. Air Force General, signed as "E.E. Partridge / General U.S. Air Force (ret)." Partridge oversaw Air Force actions in the Pacific Theater, notably in Okinawa. Dean C. Strother (1908-2000), U.S. Air Force General. Strother was sent on missions in the Pacific Theater, in Italy, and to the Soviet Union to assist the Soviets on the Eastern Front. Lauris Norstad (1907-1988), U.S. Air Force General. Norstad was a key planner of Allied air strategy in World War II and later served as Supreme Allied Commander Europe during the early Cold War. The United States declared war against Germany on December 11, 1941, just hours after receiving Germany's declaration of war on the United States. Pub. L 77-331, originally signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Vice President Henry Wallace, and House Speaker Sam Rayburn, had been passed unanimously in both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
