Hardcover. Bound in blue cloth with gold and dark blue detailing. No DJ. Corners bumped, slight scuffs along edges. No date on title page. Copyright page dated only 1941, stated first edition. 265 pages. All clean, lightly and evenly toned. Black and white plates featured throughout text, still glossy. Several more plates are tucked into the book, seemingly from a separate source but all featuring military aircraft and naval vessels. Small stamp from a former owner and a small piece of tape on front free endpaper, pages otherwise unmarked. Binding beginning to loosen slightly along center of pages.
