Dated 1920 on copyright page. 318 pages. Binding is strong and tight. Corners are lightly bumped. Spine is sunned. Faint rubbing to the corners and foot of the boards as well. Pages lightly and evenly toned throughout. A short Christmas inscription on the front free endpaper, but no marks or foxing to be found. Overall good condition. Seligmann was the first publicity director for the NAACP between 1919 and 1932 and in this book looks at the race problem in America. The front edge of the title page is roughed as issued. Very good. Among the contents of this bulletin are a two-page, decidely mixed review of the French classic "J'Accuse" directed by Abel Gance. This film had its U. S. premier in New York City on October 9, 1921 in an "edited version". There is also a review of "A Small Town Idol", a comedy written by Mack Sennett, and an article contributed by Herbert J. Seligmann, "The Real Psychology of Motion Pictures".
