Very good with some light creasing, and marks to the lower wrap. Rare. Worldcat records a series of annual reports in this form starting in 1959. In their joint Introduction, Managing Directors K.R. Henshaw and M.L. Ralston celebrate Sheikh Sabah al Salem al Sabah's inauguration of major new facilities at Sea Island, new production records, important progress in training Kuwaitis "to fill positions of greater responsibility" with trainee numbers up on the previous year from 244 to 370, and Ralston's appointment. The rest of the report highlights developments in exploration and drilling (Kuwait Bay and Bubiyan Island), production and completion of major new facilities, export, gas utilisation, employee training and career development, manpower, and special events. Among the events pictured are Abu Dhabi ruler Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's visit to Ahmadi, the above mentioned inauguration of the Sea Island facilities which included ceremonial loading of the "mammoth tanker" Universe Kuwait, inauguration of a Mobile Exhibition for schools, and start of work on a 6-lane road connecting Fahahil to Ahmadi. In their Introduction, Managing Directors KR Henshaw and ML Ralston report on steady expansion, and emphasise the advancement of KOC's "Kuwaitisation Policy" with increased recruitment and training of skilled Kuwaitis. Progress is described with respect to operations, career development and training, manpower, safety, amenities and ownership. Photos include royal portrait, directors including representatives of the Kuwait Government, operations and installations, and labour force at work and leisure. (2) FACT SHEET 1971: self-wraps 18x21cm, 4pp English text with 2 colour maps and a chart. This presents a brief description of the concession, exploration, drilling, production, terminal loading facilities, refining, power and water, commercial relations, housing and amenities, medical care, and career development and training. One of the maps shows the concession area, and the areas KOC relinquished in 1967 and 1971. The other shows the destination of exports from Mina al Ahmadi.…
