Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Hardcover. Volume one only. Full green leather binding with decorative gold and embossed stamping around the border of covers, with more gold stamping on spine. All page edges gilt. Title page dated 1828. 285 pages. Measures 9.5 x 6.5". The binding is worn and scuffed, with cracking along the edges of the spine, rubbing to covers, and an area of water damage to the back cover. The front board is attached to the binding, but peeled back from the spine strip. The binding of the textblock is strong, with some foxing here and there and toning to the pages opposite plates. All plates present. Overall, the binding still looks quite nice and the textblock is in good condition.…
