In the letter he describes, among other things, that Paul Citroen was a very inspiring teacher for him at the Haagse Academie in the period 1948-1953. The book for sale here was included as a gift. Also added is a color copy of a portrait drawing by Paul Citroen of Johan de Haas at the age of 25, the copy is provided with a handwritten caption by Johan de Haas.
